Lacking of Choices...

Just during the weekend i was running through my closet and sectioning out my golf attires and realized that its been quite a while since i've bought some nice basic colour but yet sytlish pieces. I must say that I've got quite a selection of tops over the few years tat i've picked up golf but somehow these days its quite tough for me to get something that i really like off the shelves over here in KL. Its true, often the hardest thing is getting a good selection of skorts, shorts and pants. Most fashion these days are with patterns and funny design that just does not fit any body shape...choices are so limited that I tend not to pick it up of fear that I might bump into someone at the club or at the golf course wearing the same attire..unless its a golf tournament or event where i have no choice.
The selection here is so limited that the last biggest splurge i've made is by ordering it online from the States close to 2 years ago. Big brands like ADIDAS,NIKE, CALLAWAY & etc have such a wide range over in the US but somehow when it comes to over here in M'sia there is hardly a variety to choose from. This is truly dissapointing for people like me who likes her variety and who likes to dress well for a round of golf. Talking about spending power, though women golfers are not as many as the men but i think lady golfers spend more on clothes and accesories and i may say are more willing to spend then the men. Yet the men are spoilt for choices and we women are being deprived. Many friends or lady golfers that i've known of have spoken to, most of them shop over in Singapore, Japan and overseas when they travel..what a shame dont you think so???

"SEXY" Women Golf Clothes

Now now... i came across a column from the latest issue of local golf magazine with a piece of news stating that songstress Mariah carey wants to start a line of sexy women's golf clothes. Nothing much was stated except the idea came about when the songstress balked at the golf course's dress code and instead she went onto the links with three inch high heels and barely anything on!!! Good piece of information some of you may say especially the guys,BUT this is really really old news as i read about it. This statement made by Mariah Carey was made way back in June 2003, can you imagine that 2003??? and for some logic mind i do not understand why would the Editor publish such old, outdated news that is no longer relevant. I can say its misleading to the lady golfers out there who might be expecting this to materialize. Well apparently nothing much has happen over the past 7 years as i've not heard or seen any line of women golf clothes designed by her. So my question is why publish something that was not followed through???

How time flies..

Just the other day, i couldn't sleep and i was lying in bed with lots on my mind and somehow i told myself that i should start penning down my thoughts again like what i used to do when i was younger and somehow i remembered tat i had created a blog spot somewhat 4 years ago that i've left idle for so long. Time to revisit that blog spot of mine and revamp it...i thought, so here i am with a new blog spot address and typing away my first blog entry since 2007. Gosh....tats like more den 3 years ago...time really does gets by you when you least expect it.

Why golfer gal you may ask??? but i happen to be one of those 'young" regular golfer chic u can find around *wink* With this starting i'm going to share lots of experiences i have being a young golfer gal in town, ahem wouldn't say i'm tat young...but averagely i'm considered young among the ladies circuit of golfers. My life very much revolves around GOLF if i may say...though one thing tat i've totaly cut off at the time being or i may say for the past 2 year is....visiting the driving range. At one point when i started golf a couple of years back i used to be a regular patron of a driving range, nearby where i lived. Those were the times when i spent most of my evenings and nites there...trying to perfect my golf swing..trying to will my muscle memory...trying to get my distance....hahaha funny u may think but i was hooked to the game at tat time. So as u can see, i had to cut out some part my of time away from golf and it had to be my time at the driving range...or i'll be breathing, eating, talking and sleeping golf 24/7/365....just to achieve some balance in live or wat other non golfers would say "GET A LIFE"..

Cant blame them for saying that...a gal has do wat a gal's gotta do!!!! And that for me is.....GOLF.
